BJP demands judicial probe into Hyderbad riots
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today demanded a judicial inquiry into the recent Hyderabad riots alleging that an international terrorist organisation had helped local outfits to specifically target a religious community during the violence.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday demanded a judicial inquiry into the recent Hyderabad riots alleging that an international terrorist organisation had helped local outfits to specifically target a religious community during the violence.

A BJP fact-finding team, today submitted its report on the riots to party president Nitin Gadkari, claimed that Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) was involved in violence which was aimed at changing the demographic profile of the city.
The report alleged that rioters attempted to intimidate a section of people to vacate properties with an objective to occupy or buy them at throwaway prices which flared the riots. It accused the police and government of being discriminatory towards Hindus.
"The team felt that international terrorist organisations with the help of local outfits unleashed systematic violence against Hindus with the larger design to change the demography of the old city," the report said.
The team comprising spokespersons Prakash Javadekar and Nirmala Sitharaman, Shanappa, Prahlad Joshi (Dharwad MP) and Dr Laxman (BJP Secretary) had visited Hyderabad on April 7 to meet the riot-affected people.
"The way the stones were pelted, the way people were stabbed point to hands of trained professionals," the report said.
The committee claimed it had interacted with reporters, NGOs, public representatives of various political parties and senior police officials.
"BJP demands a judicial probe into the recent riots in Hyderabad. The party also demands immediate release of compensation to all the victims, who lost lives and property in the riots perpetuated by MIM fundamentalists," the main opposition said in a statement.
"The riots were undoubtedly preplanned attacks on Hindus by the Congress and MIM combine," the report alleged.
The report accused the intelligence department of police of miserably failing to track activities of ISI and other terrorist organisations.
"The government has succumbed to the pressure from the MIM. In fact, the arrests of Hindus is being done at their behest, they are preparing the list. The helplessness of police is visible in this aspect," the report alleged.
