Flaying the BJP-led Rajasthan government for alleged mismanagement, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday said all avenues for state's development had been blocked by it and law and order had deteriorated rapidly.

Women did not feel safe anywhere, social ills such as alcoholism were on the rise and suppression of civil liberties through incidents such as police firing were becoming common, he alleged.
"Corruption has touched such heights that even ministers are levelling open allegations against each other and saying there was complete lack of transparency in the way the government was functioning," he charged.
