BJP seeks PM's intervention in Sarabjit case

The Bhartiya Janata Party on Sunday asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to intervene immediately to save the life of Sarabjit Singh, who has been reportedly issued death warrant in a prison in Lahore.

Party chief Rajnath Singh asked the prime minister to immediately intervene in the matter.

Sarabjit, an Indian national, was reportedly issued a death warrant following cancellation of his mercy petition by Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on March 3.
