FORMER CHIEF Minister Digvijay Singh today made clear his intention of not letting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government rest on developmental issues.

Speaking to media persons at the end of his maiden speech in the 12th Assembly, Digvijay used the Hindi adage `ab main unkee chhati par mung dalta rahunga’ to send a warning to the State Government.

While replying to a question on him remaining silent through two years of BJP rule, Singh said he was giving the BJP maximum opportunity to prove its worth and do some good work for the State. “But when I realised that they are up to nothing, I decided to break my silence,” he said adding that now that he has broken the silence, he would keep breathing down the Government’s neck.

The former Chief Minister reiterated the point made during his maiden speech in 12th assembly that the BJP government was seeking undue credit
