BJP tells cops to end partisan behaviour

BJP LEADERS have urged the police not to harass the people belonging to one community. Their party, they said, would not watch helplessly and launch an agitation in case cops acted with bias. Party?s district president Narendra Deo Pandey expressed surprise over the administration?s failure to take action against SP workers for creating troubles during the civic election.

Meanwhile, ten vehicles with BJP leaders and activists which were proceeding to the tension- ridden Phulpur township were stopped on the instructions of SSP Vijay Singh Meena.The vehicles then headed towards the office of the DIG who was out of station. After this, they went to the IG who, too, was not in the office.

They were going to Phulpur township to protest against the harassment of people of one community.
