"BJP will move an adjournment motion on the issue of price rise in both houses on the first day on Tuesday," party leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra told PTI on Saturday.

To corner the UPA government on the issue of soaring prices of essential commodities, the party has also threatened to stall the proceedings if the government do not take up the discussion on price rise.

"We will not allow the house to function unless there is a discussion and a reply from the government. Apart from price rise, the party will also charge government of failure to bring any relief to common man and farmers after budget," Malhotra added. The issue of internal security will also be taken up, he added.
