Alleging that the government has failed to keep its promise over Telangana issue, Opposition leader in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj on Saturday said that BJP would carve out a separate state within three months, if the NDA was voted to power in the next general elections.
The senior BJP leader said her party is committed over the creation of Telangana state as her party was always in favour of smaller states in the country.
"Telangana state demand is not by separatists, but it is by the people of the region, who suffered backwardness and lack of development," she said.
