Blood collected for DNA testing of skeleton

The CID on Tuesday collected blood samples from the family members of a missing Trinamool Congress supporter for DNA testing following recovery of a skeleton at Bajkul in East Midnapore district in August, official sources said.

The CID on Tuesday collected blood samples from the family members of a missing Trinamool Congress supporter for DNA testing following recovery of a skeleton at Bajkul in East Midnapore district in August, official sources said.

Son, daughter and wife of Subrata Das, Trinamool Congress supporter missing from 2011, went to Tamluk Hospital where the blood samples were collected.

A skeleton was found on 22 August while a pond being dug at the compound of Bajpur Jaleswar Primary school.

Das' wife had claimed the skeleton was of her husband.
