Bodies recovered under suspicious circumstances

Azad Ahmad Zargar, a resident of Botakadal locality, was found dead under suspicious circumstances near Pokhribal in Rainawari area in downtown Srinagar on Sunday morning, the spokesman said.
He said the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs after completion of necessary formalities.
Body of a 60-year-old person was recovered near a school in Sonawar locality of the city last night, he said.
The identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained, the spokesman said.
He said police had initiated inquest proceedings in both the cases to ascertain the reason behind the deaths.
