Guests trooped into The Metropolitan Hotel for the music launch party of Anil Sharma?s Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo.

Bollywood glamour always bowls over the Capital. It was apparent when the guests didn’t let the tight security arrangements dampen their enthusiasm as they trooped into The Metropolitan Hotel Nikko for the music launch party of Anil Sharma’s Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo.

The guest list, that included BJP leader LK Advani, was impressive. Apart from Advani, the other politicians at the launch were Agriculture Minister Kantilal Bhuria and President of the All India Anti-terrorist Front MS Bitta.Representing the music industry were Daler Mehndi and Kailash Allah ke bande Kher. Stars Sandali Sinha, the jittery debutante Divya Khosla, Ashutosh Rana, Danny and Bobby Deol bedazzled party animals.

Deol, who made frequent trips to the hotel’s loo, has a yen for humour. “Ye mobile bahut kasht dete hain,” he said when a lensman’s phone rang during an interview.

Once the star blitzkrieg was over, the people present made a hasty exit too. But not before paying heed to Deol’s words, “I hope you all eat and go home, not just drink yourself silly!”
