Brahmins seek five SP tickets

He has also submitted a list of the assembly segment where Brahmin candidates should be nominated. Pandey said one Brahmin candidate should be nominated each at Gorakhpur Sadar assembly segment and Barhaj assembly segment at Deoria district, Bansi or Naugarh assembly segment in Siddharth Nagar, Padrauna assembly segment in Kushinagar and Shyamdeurwa assembly segment in Maharajganj.

Pandey was delivering his views at a Brahmin conference at Basiadeeh. He said in the UP assembly election in 2002 and the Parliamentary election in 2004, Brahmin Mahasabha extended support to the SP.
