An army officer said on Monday that the case was closed after the brigadier’s resignation as there was no direct complaint or allegation from the jawan to prosecute him.

The brigadier was commanding the 93 infantry brigade in Poonch. The border has remained tense in Poonch sector in recent weeks due to a series of ceasefire violations by Pakistan.
