BTC candidates take out rally

Pratiyogi Chatra Morcha president Rajesh Singh and Allahabad University (AU) Students? Union general secretary Suresh Yadav lead the procession. A memorandum was submitted at the district magistrate?s office for the Chief Minster.

SPECIAL BTC candidates took out a procession and staged demonstration at the district headquarters in support of their demands on Friday. Pratiyogi Chatra Morcha president Rajesh Singh and Allahabad University (AU) Students’ Union general secretary Suresh Yadav lead the procession. A memorandum was submitted at the district magistrate’s office for the Chief Minster.

Large number of students started the procession from the Allahabad University (AU) Students Union Hall and reached the district headquarters where a demonstration was staged.

Speaking on the occasion, Singh said, the State government declared 40,000 vacancies but only 30,000 candidates had been selected. Singh urged the Basic Education Minister and the government to conclude the recruitment by declaring the third list of selected candidates against the remaining vacancies.

Singh urged the students to support the demonstration called in Lucknow on April 13 to raise their demands. Those present on the occasion were Alok Mishra, Ajay Dwivedi, Arjun Singh, Tej Prakash, Santosh Mishra, Abu Sufian and many others.

Inauguration: The Regional Centre of the Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) central region would be inaugurated at Sector 6, Jankipuram, Lucknow, at 5 pm on April 9.UP Agricultural Minister Ashok Bajpai will be the chief guest while Lucknow University vice-chancellor Prof RP Singh will be the guest of honour. The ceremony would be presided over by UPRTOU vice-chancellor Prof KNS Yadav.UP PCS Association president Baba Hardev Singh will conduct the ceremony while UPRTOU Registrar Dr Ratnakar Shukla will propose the vote of thanks.UPRTOU public Relation officer PC Mishra stated in a Press release that the Bareilly centre would be inaugurated by RS member Veerpal Yadav
