Budding artists to be awarded at state level exhibition

BUDDING ARTISTS Satyadheer Singh, a student of BFA IVth year at Allahabad University and Anand Prakash will be awarded by State Lalit Kala Akademi. This award will be conferred on them at the 26th state level annual art exhibition likely to be held at Lucknow this month.

BUDDING ARTISTS Satyadheer Singh, a student of BFA IVth year at Allahabad University and Anand Prakash will be awarded by State Lalit Kala Akademi. This award will be conferred on them at the 26th state level annual art exhibition likely to be held at Lucknow this month.

The paintings titled 'Sahwas aur sambhog' by Satyadheer Singh and untitled painting of Anand Prakash have been chosen to be displayed at 26th state level annual art exhibition.

Both the artists would receive an amount of Rs 10,000 each besides mementos and citations.

Satyadheer Singh has already received acclamations for a solo art exhibition which was put up at North Central Zone Cultural Centre in the year 2004.

Besides, he has also participated in various group exhibitions held at Delhi, Bhopal, Lucknow and Allahabad. He has also participated in various workshops and camps.

Another talent artist Anand Prakash has been awarded at the youth festival held at Deen Dayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur.

He has participated in various group exhibitions and his creations were put up for display in fourth all India photography exhibition organised by the Akademi.

Congratulating both the artists, Dr Ajai Jaitly, vice president of State Lalit Kala Akademi and Niranjan Singh, member of the Akademi said, the young artists of the city would get inspired with these awards and they will get an amicable environment for cultivating their art.
