Students from various engineering colleges were asked two questions: ‘How to manage the enormous crowd at Sankat Mochan temple, Durga temple and Manas mandir?’ and ‘What is the most economical method to make Ramnagar Fort a centre of tourist attraction? The participants were also given maps of Varanasi and were asked to suggest solutions to the two problems.
Around 45 students from various engineering institutes, including the Indian Institute of Technology and National Institute of Technology participated in the contest.
Robo wars was the centre of attraction on Saturday in which around 15 to 20 teams participated. Besides, competitions like Panchtantrika, model show, Bal Vigyan, software exhibition, code warriors, energonomics, gaming arena, Anveshan and tech quiz were also held today.
Earlier, Prof Veena Bansal from IIT-Kanpur delivered a guest lecture on ‘Enterprise Resource Planning Software’. Prof Bansal said the enterprise resource planning software was being used by various organisations to integrate different wings, such as production, marketing, management and publicity.
