“What BJP and Biman Bose have alleged on the Burdwan blast is absolutely illogical. Immersions of Durga idols are yet not over. Moreover there is Eid on Monday. The BJP and CPI(M) have hatched a conspiracy at the right moment to mar the festive season in Bengal,” said Roy.

Roy said that there is no clear evidence that Trinamool Congress party office was on the ground floor of the house from where the explosives were recovered.

“I don’t know how Biman Bose and the BJP leaders got the idea that there was a Trinamool Congress party office inside the premises from where police recovered the explosives. There is no footage or photographs available to support the allegations,” added Roy.

The Trinamool Congress leader attacked Bose stating that people in Bengal is well aware about the Netai and Nandigram killing incidents. They are also aware about the terrorist attack on American Centre.
