C'wealth: Murugesan wins silver in weightlifting
India's Arun Murugesan on Friday won the silver medal in weightlifting in men's 62 kg category at the 18th Commonwealth Games.

India's Arun Murugesan on Friday won the silver medal in weightlifting in men's 62 kg category at the 18th Commonwealth Games.
Murugesan claimed the silver with a total lift of 271 kg (121+150).
Murugesan missed the gold medal on account of his higher body weight to Vidanage Chintana of Sri Lanka, who also lifted the same weight (118+153).
The Indian weighed 61.87 kg as against the gold medallist who weighed 61.79 kg.
Malayasia's Abdul Rashid Roswadi Bin won the bronze with an overall lift of 261 kg (120+141).
