ADA insiders say, the building in question situated in front of the Sai temple on Thornhill Road which has been sealed following VC OPN Singh's order can be regularised only after demolition because it has encroached the floor area ratio.

Then the builders have overlooked the need of having a parking slot in the basement. Under such circumstances the parking in the green belt will be illegal.
But then who cares.

Interestingly, defying the VC's order the lower ADA staff in alleged connivance with the builders have allowed labourers to carry out finishing work in the building which appears to be sealed from outside.

This isn't the end of illegalities. The building's map was allegedly passed in the residential category but a commercial complex has come up in its place.

Interestingly, the ADA VC and the Secretary RN Singh both live in the vicinity and commute on the same road twice every day. Even the divisional commissioner who is the ADA chairman also goes to the circuit house through this route.
