Sources talked of another clue the police have got: the statement of a footpath vendor who saw a person leaving a black bag near the Dashaswamedh area. It was on his information that the police was able to defuse the third bomb that had been set to explode on Tuesday.
The bag was said to contain a tiffin box and a pressure cooker (containing large quantity of explosives). Principal Secretary (home) Alok Sinha said the bomb might have been brought from Bihar. He said the sketches of the suspects were being prepared on the basis of eyewitness accounts. The sketches may be released on Thursday.
