CBI raids I-T official on charges of corruption

The CBI raids the premises of Dhananjay Kumar, a senior Income Tax official, who is alleged to have indulged in corruption.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau of CBI raided the premises of a senior Income Tax official on Thursday who is alleged to have indulged in corruption, a senior CBI official said.

The raids on the official identified as Dhananjay Kumar, have been on since morning and the process is still continuing, the official said.

The official however refused to divulge any further details about the raid.
