Centre will ensure no shortage of funds for Mumbai: Reddy

The UPA-led government at the Centre would ensure that there is no shortage of funds for Mumbai's development, Union Minister for Urban Development Jaipal Reddy said in Mumbai on Tuesday.

The UPA-led government at the Centre would ensure that there is no shortage of funds for Mumbai's development, Union Minister for Urban Development Jaipal Reddy said in Mumbai on Tuesday.

"The UPA government has always made efforts for Mumbai's overall development and we will ensure that there is no shortage of funds for Mumbai," the minister said after the launch of Middle Vaitarna Water supply project at suburban Mulund this evening.

Mumbai would soon get 1,450 buses under MUTP project, the minister said.
