Police stepped in last night after being passed handwritten notes on the back of the show's production running order on which it is claimed the Bollywood star was called a "F*** Paki" during one clip which was never screened.
The allegations also include a note which reads: "some dodgy clips do exist. We are f***".
The evidence was taken to Hertfordshire Police by an anonymous tipster.
A Hertfordshire Police spokeswoman said "We can confirm that we have been given some further information and it is being considered along with the rest of the investigation."
A Channel 4 spokeswoman said there was no evidence in their log of the word being used and that it had not been contacted by the police.
The news comes as it was announced that the CBB runner-up Jermaine Jackson was to help launch a nationwide anti-bullying campaign.
