The RJD supremo on Friday filed his papers from the prestigious Chapra seat to cross swords with Union minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy.

Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Laloo Prasad Yadav on Friday filed his papers from the prestigious Chapra Lok Sabha seat to cross swords with the Union minister of state for Civil Aviation Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
Laloo flew in here by a chopper and drove to the district collectorate where he submitted his papers to Saran district magistrate-cum-returning officer B Pradhan.
Yadav had successfully fought elections from Chapra in 1977 and 1989 prior to shifting to Madhepura. He has also announced to contest from Madhepura.
Rudy, who emerged victorious from Chapra in 1996 and 1999, filed his nomination on Thursday.
