Though we came across the same old range of crackers, sparklers and sky shots remain the bestsellers. The price varies widely, so fierce bargaining skills are a must. Bringing a sense of freshness to the range of decor items are Rajasthani gel candles, lanterns and led candles. “Diwali is incomplete without candles and diyas. Though the variety increases each year,
rangoli
and clay diyas remain one of the bestselling items,” says Ram Manohar, another shopkeeper. Other hit items are fancy lights, rangoli design patterns and wall hangings.
