The chopper, en route to New Delhi from Jaipur, made a safe landing in an open field. It had just one occupant, the pilot, who is safe.

According to DCP (south) Pala Ram, the incident occurred at 11.30 am when the chopper owned by Monarch International made a sudden landing near village Bhondsi.

“The chopper was returning to New Delhi from Jaipur when the pilot informed our officers that he had to make a sudden landing,” DCP Ram said.

Jyoti Gupta, joint president, Monarch International denied that the chopper made an emergency landing.

“It was a precautionary landing. The light flashed because of some electrical fault and not because of a technical snag. On Tuesday, our engineers will and check the chopper in general,” Gupta clarified.
