"We will be releasing CDs on the event and later on, will upload album on internet to make it globally accessible to all," he added.

The group is also planning to release a video CD of the Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir concert on the day. "We want to tell everybody that Kashmir has not forgotten Guru," Pervez added.

The coalition has decided to launch more cultural events under the banner Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir.

"We are a sort of conglomerate of civil society groups, traders, students, intellectuals, who came together under the banner Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir. With the kind of response we got on September 7, we have decided to keep the name for the theme of cultural resistance hereon," Pervez added.

"The album is a beginning of alternate expression of protests - through music poetry. Many more things can be expected in the future," he added.

According to him the album titled "A tribute to Afzal Guru" will have eight songs two in Kashmiri language and six in Urdu.
