Deepika was found hanging in her room at Bhuiyandih on Thursday evening, police said adding that the body has been sent for post-mortem.

According to a complaint lodged with the police, relatives of the victim have accused a youth for the death.

The family members had complained with the East Singhbhum district anti-teasing cell two months ago, after which the the accused had fled.

However, the youth returned to the city later on and started teasing the victim again.

Police said investigation is going on but no one was arrested as yet.
