Former US President Bill Clinton will visit the tsunami-affected areas of Tamil Nadu on May 27. Clinton is visiting these areas as the UN Special Envoy for Tsunami recovery, an official press release said in Chennai on Tuesday.

Arriving at Chennai from New Delhi at 1 pm on May 27, Clinton would leave by helicopter for Nagapattinam, one of the worst tsunami-hit areas, where he would visit a temporary shelter, set up for tsunami affected persons, besides having discussions with the district officials on relief work.
Coming back to Chennai the same day, he would interact with the media before leaving for Colombo.
