Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Sunday slammed the reported move by security forces to stop the Karnataka Express in Maharastra's Ahmednagar district, that had 18 bogies filled with state BJP youth wing workers, heading to Jammu to participate in the Tiranga Yatra.

"Nobody tolerates such things," he said, adding, he would request the party central leaders to take up the matter with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and "protest this type of attitude".

Yeddyurappa said his government would write to President Pratibha Patil and the Prime Minister about this incident.

"Such things should not repeated in future," he told reporters before leaving for Delhi to hold talks with the BJP central leadership in the wake of Governor H R Bhardwaj sanctioning his prosecution over alleged land scams.

Reports said police, CRPF jawans and railway police created a blackout and removed the front engine, placing it at the back, at Sarola station in Ahmednagar district.

They also attached two more bogies, filled with over 1500 police jawans early on Sunday.
