She reviewed the status of Delhi's green cover with top government officials. The government reiterated that it would set up a call centre to receive complaints of damages to trees.

The CM asked the environment department to chalk out an action plan to plant 10-15 lakh saplings during the ensuing monsoon season. Dikshit wants planting of saplings around shopping malls, bus depots, Aero city, schools, colleges and government offices.
