CHIEF MINISTER Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed havan and poojan at his official residence at Shyamala Hills this morning and is likely to shift on January 18 from his present 74-Bungalow residence. The Chief Minister accompanied by his family members and relatives reached the bungalow this morning and performed the poojan, which lasted over two hours.

Minister for PHE Rampal Singh and Minister for Public Relations Narendra Singh Tomar among others were present on the occasion. Party sources said the Chief Minister would move to Shyamala Hills bungalow on January 18 as per the auspicious timing decided by religious pundits.

Chouhan was waiting for ‘Malmaas’ month to pass on Makar Sankranti day on January 14 to move to the Shyamala Hills bungalow. He will be the third Chief Minister to live in the palatial bungalow in a short span of over two years time, thanks to infighting in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) resulting in change of guard in the Government.
