After the last minute change in the venue of press conference on Monday evening, which perhaps left the security agencies with no time to get the new entry passes printed, they opted for allotting numbers, as codes for granting entry to the press conference.

The electronic media, print media, national dailies and photo journalists were separately issued numerical codes with
different prefixes like EM, JL, NM and PH to identify themselves.

The codes were communicated to the scribes separately on phone and on arrival they had to identify themselves by it and getting it cross checked with their names before undergoing the security check.
