College student commits suicide in Greater Noida

A 22-year-old student of B.Pharma (part II) allegedly committed suicide at his Greater Noida residence.

A 22-year-old student of B.Pharma (part II) on Saturday allegedly committed suicide at his Greater Noida residence.

According to the police, the boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his rented room at sector Gamma in Greater Noida.

The boy hailed from Gorakhpur and was a student of Dadri college, police said.

A suicide note was also recovered from his room, police said adding it was addressed to the boy's parents.

In the note he stated that he was unable to fulfil his parents' wishes and had always acted against their will.

He further stated that he was taking this extreme step of ending his life, since he does not want to see his family further humiliated because of him, police said.
