Earlier called Müngersdorfer, the stadium of Cologne was originally sited in 1923. Recently it underwent a facelift to level international standards. The renovation that took place in phases was completed in 2004.

Home to 1.FC Cologne, the stadium's museum displays the long-standing history of the club. Some of the legendary German players like Toni Schumacher and Thomas Hässler had once dazzled the world playing on this stadium.
