Computer training begins for power employees

THE FIRST session of a 40-day in-house computer training programme for officers and employees of the Madhya Pradesh Central Region Power Distribution Company (MPCRPDC), Bhopal began here today.

THE FIRST session of a 40-day in-house computer training programme for officers and employees of the Madhya Pradesh Central Region Power Distribution Company (MPCRPDC), Bhopal began here today.

Inaugurating the session, MPCRPDC Chairman and Managing Director Ajit Kesri emphasised the need of being computer literate in this era of information technology.

It was imperative for all officials to be well-versed in computers for personal use as well as to supervise their subordinates’ work, he said.

Kesri said the in-house computer training programme had been initiated to enable officers and employees to learn computer during working hours at their offices itself.

He expressed hope that this programme would greatly benefit employees and also enhance their working efficiency.
