A high-level meeting, presided over by UPCC chief Salman Khursid, was held at the UPCC headquarters. Addressing the meeting, he said that the Congress would have to launch an agitation against the SP-led government. Congressmen would make it sure that no one was able to create any problems for the Congress-led UPA government.

Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Pramod Tiwari, who also spoke at the meeting, said that the mobilisation of crowd for ‘Nav Nirman Rally’ to be addressed by Congress president Sonia Gandhi would be a big challenge. By mobilising large crowd for the rally, the Congressmen would prove that the party was ready for the coming Vidhan Sabha elections, he said.
