"The Deputy CM demanding a list of such Sikhs from the Centre is nothing but an attempt to hoodwink the community," Bholath MLA Sukhpal Khaira told reporters and produced a list of 101 black listed Sikhs which he claimed to have procured from the police.

Union Home minister P Chidambram recently asked Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to provide information about black listed Sikhs to allow them to visit India.

"I got the list of 101 black listed Sikhs from none other than the Punjab police," said Khaira, adding that although the number of black listed Sikhs was much higher, yet Sukhbir Badal could begin taking up the cases with this list.
