THE CONGRESS has decided to observe 2007 as ‘sangharsh Year’ to protest what it called the mis-governance of BJP government.

The party is organising a rally in Sagar on January 27 in which several leaders including, Joytiraditiya Scindia will participate. Addressing a press conference, MLA Govind Rajput alleged that the government has been ignoring the farmer’s problems.
The farmers are struggling for power to irrigate their lands, but the government has failed to provide them six hours of uninterrupted power. The fertilisers are also not reaching the farmers on time. He also demanded to declare the two tehsils Banda and Sahagarh as drought affected.
Rajput also alleged that exploitation of the SC/ST in the State was on the rise during the tenure of the BJP government and false cases were being filed against party men.
Besides, he alleged, the public distribution system has also collapsed, kerosene is being sold in the black market.
