The three-day-old babies suffered cardiac arrest and attempts for their revival failed before they could reach the National Capital.

The bodies of the girls were now being taken to their native place – Sirsaganj in Firozabad district.

The step to shift the infants had been taken in view of the poor health of the babies jointly weighing only 3.75 kgs. The conjoined twins were born with one liver, two hearts, two lungs, four hands and four legs, said doctors.
