Continuous power supply a mystery!
THE CITIZENS are surprised to get uninterrupted power supply for the last two days. But how has it happened and how long will this continue is still a mystery at least for Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Officials here. Interestingly, the local UPPCL officials, are too wondering over no power cut in the city for two consecutive days--Wednesday and Thursday.

Interestingly, the local UPPCL officials, are too wondering over no power cut in the city for two consecutive days--Wednesday and Thursday. On being asked a high ranking local UPPCL officer, on the condition of anonymity, expressed his inability to tell the exact reason about uninterrupted power supply being given to the city these days as there was no official word. However, he ruled out maintaining the regular power supply in the wake of CBSE, ICSE, UP Board and Allahabad University examinations. The official said it was good to have no electricity cut so there was no need from our side to ask the System Control, Lucknow, for the reason of exemption from regular power cut between 10 am and 1 pm. However, the official denied any major improvement in power generation in the State, one of the probable reasons of having no power cuts these days.
