Yadav was reviewing the law and order situation and implementation of development project in the division at Zila Parishad Hall. He directed the police official to constitute special mobile squads to keep vigil on banks, railway stations and other sensitive areas to check the crime. He directed all the police officials to nab the criminals on whom reward was declared.
In the meeting police officials said that two criminals, one from Deoria and the other from Gorakhpur, on whom reward was declared, were arrested. Divisional commissioner directed SSP Kushinagar to intensify his drive against criminals.
Yadav also reviewed the pace of development work and directed the officials to complete it within the given time. He asked municipal commissioner to complete the drain clean-up drive before the monsoon. He said Maharajganj district had not done satisfactory job in regard to Prime Minister Rural Employment Scheme.
Divisional commissioner directed the DM to repair the hand pumps and reviewed the rural development scheme in the division. He said realisation percentage in Gorakhpur division was not satisfactory as only 54 per cent of the total outstanding payment was realised.
