"Counting for 32 seats will be held tomorrow from 8 am onwards. Counting for Pratapgarh seat, where nominated members will cast their vote in the morning, will start from 12 noon," Chief Electoral Officer Umesh Sinha said.
He said that repoll has been ordered at three centres in Aligarh and one each in Meerut and Bulandshahr, to be held today.
"Counting for these three seats will be held on January 14," Sinha said.
Earlier, counting for 36 seats, which was originally scheduled on January 9 was deferred by the EC in the light of an order passed by the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court on January 6.
The court in its order held that amended provision of UP Municipal Act, through which voting rights were given to nominated members in the meetings of the municipalities and nagar panchayats, shall not be operated upon.
