Saibad police today filed a petition in court of first Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) at Nampally court here and sought its direction to feed Naidu as doctors who examined the TDP leader said his condition would worsen if he continued with his fast.

The First ACMM was on leave and it was the XI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate who issued directive allowing whatever necessary steps required to save the life of former Chief Minister.

Naidu has been on an indefinite hunger strike demanding adequate compensation for farmers who lost their crop in the recent rains.
