Rejesh Upadhya, lawyer of the accident victim, told PTI that the court of Arvind Varma ordered to seize DGP's office building and pay a compensation of Rs 2.21 lakh to the victim Mukesh Dahiya.

Upadhya said the court had passed an order in February 23 last year in which it had asked the police department to pay a compensation of Rs 2.21 lakh to Dahiya.

Dahiya was incapacitated by 22 per cent after a police van had hit the car which he was driving near Mana on March 16, 2006, the lawyer said.
