Local court issues summons to a Bahujan Samaj Party MLA for his alleged involvement in exploiting Nepali circus girls.

A local court here has issued summons to a Bahujan Samaj Party MLA for his alleged involvement in exploiting Nepali circus girls.
The Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Sumit Chandra has directed Meerut IG to produce BSP MLA Mohd Azim and his accomplice Yunus before the court on July 9.
According to prosecution, the accused are facing charges of harassment and unlawful confinement.
The police had rescued about 48 Nepali girls from the circus in June 2003 and had booked Azim and Yunus for sexual harassment.
