CPIML(L) shutdown in Bihar town

CPI-ML(Liberation) forced closure of shops and other establishments at Naugachchia town in Bihar's Bhagalpur district today to protest against alleged kidnapping of one of its members.

CPI-ML(Liberation) forced closure of shops and other establishments at Naugachchia town in Bihar's Bhagalpur district on Wednesday to protest against alleged kidnapping of one of its members.

The CPI-ML(L) member identified as Rupesh Kumar Singh was allegedly kidnapped by unidentified persons from Naugachchia on May 18 and is traceless till date, official sources said.

CPI-ML(L) members took out a procession in the town to enforce their call for shutdown demanding Singh's immediate rescue.

Raids are on in the area to rescue the man, the sources said.
