A few shops and four houses were set afire by miscreants. The trouble began last night during a religious procession at Mandavmal Chouraha in Budhwara locality when the sound system mounted on a vehicle suddenly fell, leading to chaos in the area, the sources said.

Later, people belonging to different communities pelted stones at each other in which two persons were injured.

Members of the majority community allegedly set afire four houses of the people on suspicion of their involvement in the incident, they said.
