The censor board issued the certificate for release on Tuesday after the distributors agreed to carry the disclaimer, "The film is a work of pure fiction and has no correspondence to historical facts of the Christian religion." It will run for 15 seconds.

The problem does not end for the Code. Nagaland has issued an advisory restricting the screening of the movie while in Kerala, Christians are seeking a ban.
