Dalit youth beaten to death in Muzaffarnagar

Youth was allegedly beaten to death by four persons for his relationship with a higher caste girl.

A Dalit youth has been allegedly beaten to death by four persons for his relationship with a higher caste girl in Butrada in the district, police said on Tuesday.

A case has been registered in this regard.

Ravish, belonging to scheduled caste, fell in love with a girl of higher caste, following which he was allegedly beaten to death by the girl's family members, police said.

No arrests have been made in the case and police claim that the accused were absconding since then.
