DALY COLLEGE President Board of Governors XI won the Maharaja Ajit Singh Jhabua memorial cricket match defeating ISPORA XI by four wickets. The match was played at Daly College ground today.

Calling the toss correctly, the ISPORA captain decided to bat first and his team scored 171 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 25 overs. For ISPORA, Sanjeev Dua remained unbeaten on 43 (with 5 fours), while Subodh Saxena scored 28 runs with the help of 6 fours and Sanjay Jagdale made 23 runs with the help of 4 fours.

Chasing a total of 172 runs to win, the Daly College President Board of Governors XI batted brilliantly and won the match in 20.1 overs with 4 wickets still intact. Sanjay Thacker scored 51 runs in just 32 deliveries with 6 fours and a six, while Sumit Chandok made a hurricane 35 runs in just 20 balls.

Pratap Singh scored 27 runs in 29 balls and Sumit Gupta scored 24 runs in 24 balls. For ISPORA, Mahavir Arya took 2 wickets, while Narendra and Yogesh Jagdale took 1 wicket each.

Narendra Singh Jhabua presented the trophy to the winning captain Narendra Singh Bidwal at the presentation ceremony. Daly College principal Sumer Singh and national selector Sanjay Jagdale were also present in the ceremony.
